St. Martha's House

St. Martha's House was established in 2010 in Bethlehem.

It is a charity in Bethlehem to serve as care house of elderly ladies in Bethlehem. It is a house club at diurnal for women that provide health and personal services, meals and transportation.

Primary goal of the house is to provide the care for the largest possible number of elderly in need of aid and give them love, affection and family care.

The message this House is to help elderly women in our society who have no family support or any income. The number of the members of the House of St. Martha is currently 35 women.

Domus Sanctae Marthae services include the following:

1. Providing care center including daily services by bringing the ladies out of their homes eight o'clock in the morning, eat breakfast together and have a meal at twelve o'clock noon. 

   Follow-up issues related to personal care, including bringing hairdressers to cut and dye their hair

3. House provides opportunities for social networking and attends religious lectures and meets with their elderly relatives and to exchange views and different experiences. they can participate in activities and social events, including daily exercise and play the Bingo.
4. The organization of recreational trips and picnics.
5. providing events for raising the level of psychological and emotional well-being including doing manual works that mastered in order to mobilize the leisure time they have to restore self-confidence and create a sense of production.
