Jesus love was so great that he became fiends with those who you or me would hate.
Jesus was the friend of sinners.
Zacchaeus was a big sinner.
He was a tax collector, so he was a traitor working for the Roman government, he was also a thief because when the Romans wanted 1 shekel in tax he would say they wanted 2 shekels and he would keep the 1 shekel for himself.
Everyone hated tax collectors, Zacchaeus didn't have many friends, and any friends he did have would also be tax collectors, but Jesus showed him love and that love changed his life.
Zacchaeus didn't need people condemning him, people turning their face away. He just needed love.
It was love that changed his heart, he decided to give half of his money to the poor and anyone he had cheated he would give 4 times as much back.
Something truly happened to Zacchaeus, no longer did he love money, he loved the one who showed him love.
Repentance came and turned his life upside down.
Today God loves you, he has a plan for your life.
