Bethlehem was chosen to be a special city because it would host Jesus the son of God.

Bethlehem had a very special honour.

The city was even prophesied about in the old testament.

But you, Bethlehem in the land of Judah,

Are not the least among the rulers of Judah;

For out of you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people, Israel.

Bethlehem was chosen By God to be the birthplace of the messiah.

But God had to move people into place before that could ever happen.

Mary and Joseph had to be in Bethlehem at the right time.

But God knows what he is doing he is never late; he moves Caesar Augustus To do a census.

Now everyone is in place and Mary and Joseph can come to Bethlehem.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a humble stable in a lowly manger,

with the cows and sheep, the Oxen and donkey.

What a holy night, What a joy and privilege for Bethlehem.

Of all the cities of the world Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

God fulfilled his word and blessed Bethlehem.
