What is so special about Bethlehem ?
Why would God choose to come to this little town.?
You may be asking yourself that question.
The Answer is found in God's word the bible.
The Old Testament book of Micah has the answer.
It's only a small book, It has 7 chapters in it.
But Micah was a Prophet of God and he spoke something amazing.
Years before Jesus was Born he said something very special would happen in Bethlehem.
But you oh Bethlehem Ephrathah Though you are the smallest of the towns of Judah out of you will come someone who will rule my people.
Just this tiny little verse was inspired by Almighty God.
It was the place where Jesus would be born.
Jesus wasn't born in Bethlehem by accident.
God wasn't caught off guard when Caesar called for a Census, It was all part of Gods plan.
God moved Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and the first Christmas was celebrated round a Manger.
