Jesus said Blessed are the poor.
Its quite a strange statement, You would think blessed are the rich because they can afford whatever they want.
The washing machine breaks down, they go out and buy a new one.
They are blessed because when something goes wrong straight away they have the money to repair it.
But no Jesus said “Blessed are the poor.”
Who is the one who sees the miracle?
The poor mans washing machine breaks down, he knows he doesn't have the money to get it fixed so he gets down on his knees and prays.
“God help me I really need extra money for this problem”.
When God answers his prayer who saw the miracle and answer to prayer.?
The rich man didn't have to pray because he had extra money, he relied on his money but the poor man relied on God and saw the miracle come.
So blessed are the poor because they put their total trust on God.
If you don't have money today, Trust in God to provide for all your needs.
Today you are blessed.
