Bethlehem is full of different charities,

they are all doing their bit to make Bethlehem a better place to live.

We have charities that help the poor, we have charities that help old people , we have charities that help the disabled.

They are all doing a great work in the community.

But have you ever thought about how you could be involved.

There are lots of things that need done in a charity.

From the big to the small.

You may say to yourself “I don't think I could work with disabled people”.

But disabled people need to eat , so you could volunteer to cook, as a charity they need to keep their books in order and be accountable for the money that comes in, You could offer to do their books for free.

There are al kinds of little ways in which you could help.

When you are next in the supermarket you could buy one extra tin of beans and make up a care package for an old person.

Think of practical ways in which you can get involved in making our community a better one.
