They are a gift from God
The bible says that Children are a heritage from the Lord.
They are a reminder of you.
If you have a boy then he will carry the family name.
Your name will be remembered.
Many people name their children after a family member, a father or Grandfather.
A name will live on.
God gives us children and even before they are born, he knows them.
The bible told Jeremiah that he was formed in his mother's womb.
God knew what colour eyes he would have, the tone of his skin.
God creates every child special.
Jesus wanted the children to come to him, he never pushed them away.
The disciples saw Jesus as someone special so they pushed the children away thinking Jesus couldn't be bothered with them.
But Jesus cares for everyone, no matter what age in life we are at.
Children are a gift from God.
Love them and teach them God's ways.
