The disciples saw Jesus after he had been raised from the dead,
But one of the disciples was missing.
It was Thomas, they told him “Thomas we have seen the Lord, he is not dead but alive”.
How would you have reacted to that news?
You see with your own eyes Jesus crucified on a wooden cross and then afterwards your friends tell you that he isn’t dead but alive.
I think we can understand Thomas’s reaction.
It seemed unbelievable but it was true and Jesus in his grace and mercy came to Thomas to prove that he was alive and that the disciples weren’t playing one huge joke on him.
Thomas got the chance to touch Jesus and see that he was real, it wasn’t his imagination, it wasn’t some kind of trick, it was actually Jesus standing there in the flesh.
Jesus said blessed are those who have not seen me and yet believed.
I have never met Jesus physically, Yet I believe he is the Son of God,
I believe his word, the bible is the inspired word of God and that you can meet Jesus through this book,
I believe he died and rose again and today I am blessed.
