Easter is a wonderful time.

It is a time to remember the real story.

Sometimes with television and media the real story can get lost.

The Easter story has nothing to do with Easter rabbits or Chocolate eggs.

The Easter story is about Jesus dying on a cruel wooden cross.

It's about God saving mankind from their sin.

It's about how man killed God's son Jesus.

Man showed his wickedness at Easter.

Yes, Jesus did give his life, But it was man's wickedness that placed Jesus on the cross.

His wickedness in condemning an innocent man.

But even in the midst of man's wickedness Jesus was willing to die on the cross for our sin.

It shows the mercy and grace of God

God could have called down a legion of Angels and struck mankind down but instead he allowed his son to die.

He died so that mankind could be saved.

What a wonderful, loving God we serve.
