The Bible tells us that Mary and Joseph Lived in Nazareth,
A town in the North, But the scriptures said that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.
God arranged for Mary and Joseph to travel to Bethlehem.
And he used a Census to get them to leave Nazareth.
Caesar Augustus wanted everyone counted so it meant you had to travel to your home town.
Joseph was from the Family line of David, David was born in Bethlehem so Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem to register.
God is moving his players in place.
God is in control, He holds everything in his hands.
He knew he had to get Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem so he puts an idea into Caesar Augustus head .
Caesar would think that he had a good idea, But we know better, We see that it was God's idea and Caesar had a small part to play in bringing God's idea to fruition.
The Christmas story would never have happened if it hadn't have been for God making things happen.
