Hunger

Good or bad?

Hunger is something that some people face in some countries.

Their crops have failed so a famine comes upon the land.

Perhaps a destructive rainfall destroys all the crops.

Now there is no food to feed the people.

That is a bad hunger, when your tummy is empty.

Some people have a hunger for more of God.

They are not satisfied with their spiritual state and want to know more

about God's power and presence.

They are struggling with a spiritual famine, but are determined to seek God.

That is a Good hunger.

Sometimes God seems distant, in those times he is wanting us to look for him.

If you were physically hungry then you would look for food, So also if you are spiritually hungry.

God is distant because he wants you to seek him and find him.

So today if you are spiritually hungry, if you feel that God is far off.

Seek him with all your heart.

He is waiting for you.
