For unto us a child is Born, unto us a Son is given
And the government will be upon his shoulders.
Isaiah prophesied Christmas and the Christmas child Jesus Christ.
Isaiah wrote these famous words and they form our old testament
He was an 8th Century BC writer, and can you imagine many years later his words came true.
Jesus was that Child born, he was that Son given to us.
He came as a little baby boy to the small town of Bethlehem.
It tells me that in all the chaos of Life, God knew exactly what he was doing.
He sent Jesus at exactly the right time.
Jesus was our best ever Christmas present.
Because he could clean us of all our sins.
Just think of every sin that you have ever committed they are wiped away because of this little baby boy born in Bethlehem and promised in the Old testament.
He died on that cross so that we could have life and forgiveness.
His life is the best Christmas present anyone could ever receive.
God knew what he was doing when he promised Jesus,
He knew what he was doing when Jesus came as a baby.
He knew what he was doing when Jesus died.
And he knows what his is doing when he offers you forgiveness.
Will you accept God's great Christmas present.?
