In life there are ups and downs, good times and bad times.

We have to take them both, it is part of living.

We will experience many joys, The joy of finding our true love,

the joy of children, and seeing them grow up.

The joy of a first car or a first job.

Many joys will come to us.

But also we will have days of sorrow, it is inevitable.

We will loose someone close and feel deep mourning.

Our plans will go in a different direction.

But whatever happens we are to be salt and light.

If we say that we are Christian then people will be watching us.

We may not know it but when you go through those hard times people are watching.

How do you react?

Do you loose your faith because something has rocked your foundation or do you keep yourself focused and fixed on God.

Even in the darkest and deepest times.

We are the light that shines even in the darkest times.
