Have you ever done anything wrong, where you know you are wrong and you get caught.
You know that your in deep trouble. Perhaps with a parent.
You know that when you see your mother or father that you are really going to face the music.
You realise that you have done wrong, you know that it wasn't right and you feel ashamed about it.
You don't need a telling off because you have already done that to yourself.
What you need is mercy.
Someone who will treat you kindly even though you don't deserve it.
That is how God treats us.
We are all sinners, we know we are sinners, we were born in sin.
We just can't seem to stop sinning.
Even when i am trying to be good the bad follows me.
But God in his mercy forgives us.
We don't deserve it. We have done wrong.
Yet God forgives us and shows us mercy.
He doesn't treat us as our sins deserve.
If that is how God treats us then we should do the same.
Has someone sinned against you.?
Forgive them! Show them Mercy !
Because that is what God has given you.
