A mother cat is a real mother to her young
she looks after them by feeding them and protecting them from danger.
She provides them with milk to make them big and strong.
When they are older, she goes out hunting if she is a wild cat, hunting for food which she can bring back for her little ones.
She cleans them with her lick, making sure they are clean and tidy.
She also protects them from danger, if someone gets too close to the nest, she will hiss at them. It's a warning “Don't get too close”.
She is very protective of her little ones.
She is a mother showing care and showing love.
God is like that too.
He loves and cares for us.
He is our provider; he gives us food to eat.
When we know him, he surrounds us with his angels to protect us.
And he cleans us from sin with his forgiveness.
God's love and protection is there for anyone who will receive it.
