The parable of the lost sheep is a wonderful story,
The sheep wanders away but the shepherd brings him back.
It is a parable so it isn't a true story, but behind the story is a lesson to learn.
We are like sheep, we are prone to wander.
Sometimes we can get into all kinds of trouble and we can feel far away from God.
But God is always there, even when he feels distant.
Because he loves you and cares for you.
Sometimes God will stay far away because he wants you to take a step towards him.
And other times he comes looking for you.
We cannot hide from God.
We cannot hide our sins and mistakess from God.
So if we cannot hide them isn't it better to confess them.
Learn from them and turn our life around.
Are you a lost sheep that God is looking for.
Let him bring you back into the sheep fold ,
let him care for you and give you grace and mercy.
Because he loves you.
