Have you ever watched a spider spin his web.?
You will find him in a corner somewhere working quietly away.
And when he has finished he has a beautiful home.
But somehing more sinsiter is connected to the spider's web.
And for the fly it is deadly.
The fly will fly directly into the web and then get stuck.
He will wriggle and push but he is stuck.
He cannot break free.
And then the spider moves down the web towards the fly.
And we all know what is going to happen.
The devil is like that spider,
he puts webs in front of us, things to tempt us with.
And when we are tempted we can get caught.
Many people are caught in a web today.
The web of smoking, alcohol abuse , lying, sex and sexual abuse.
If felt fine to get involved in these things, but after a while you get stuck and you cannot get out.
But thanks be to God, there is one person who can free us from the web of sin we get intangled into .
Jesus.
Today do you feel like your life is caught in a web of sin ?
Call out to Jesus and he will set you free.
