Have you ever looked inside your father's toolbox ?
There are many different tools in there.
You will find the hammer for hitting a nail.
You will find a saw for cutting some wood and you will find
a screwdriver for turning a screw.
Every tool is unique and individual.
The hammer cannot do what the saw does, The saw cannot do what the screw driver does.
Every tool is created to do a special job.
It is the same with each and every one of us in the body of Christ.
God has given us all unique and individual gifts.
We should never look at someone else's gift and say “I'm doing that”.
God has given you gifts for you, don't try to jump into someone else's shoes, when God hasn't given you that gift.
Look at you life, ask others to look and let you know what your gifts are, Perhaps someone will tell you, “I love the way you care for me” or “I love the wisdom you give me when I come to you with a problem”.
These are all gifts given to you by God.
When you know what gifts God has given you then develop them and use them to God's glory.
All God's gifts are there to be used and to give glory to God.
