It’s always an exciting time when we put up the Christmas tree.
If you have children they can help, knowing it won’t be long until Christmas Day .
They can place the balls onto the tree along with the tinsel.
Wrap the lights round the tree and eventually put the star or Angel right on the very top.
It looks beautiful when it is finished.
But really the tree has no meaning.
It isn’t something that is in the Christmas story.
The true story is about a baby boy being born in a stable.
At Christmas we need to be very careful that we don’t forget the true meaning.
All the other things, Santa clause, the tree, the food , the presents are very nice.
But the true meaning of Christmas is a little baby boy being born into the world in a stable in Bethlehem.
Coming to the world to forgive us of our sins .
That is the true meaning of Christmas.
