We are in a battle.
If the FBI were going to take down a dangerous criminal, they wouldn't go in without armour.
They would wear a bullet proof vest to protect their organs, they would have shields in case the person they were arresting had a gun and they would have guns to stop any trouble.
They would go protected against the enemy.
What we see in the Physical is also true in the spiritual.
We need to put on the armour of God
we have the Helmet and sword, the Breast plate and a shield.
They are God's gift to us so we should use them.
God expects trouble and he expects us to guard ourselves.
He hasn't left us vulnerable; he has given us weapons.
Only a fool would go into battle without his weapons, today you are in a battle so make sure you have your weapons to defeat all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
You are in a battle !
