Does God really speak to people?

Can you know his heart?

Does God want a personal relationship with you today?

Does he want you to know his plans and purposes for your life?

I believe the answer is yes.

Does God want to speak to you?

Again, I think the answer is yes.

It must have been in about the year 2000 when I came to the Holy land with a prayer on my heart. God where do you want me to be.

I had been offered another opportunity in Canada so I wanted to pray about it and wanted to know God's heart in this situation.

So, when I came to the holy land, I stayed at St Paul's church in Jerusalem.

At the top I started to pray “God where do you want me to be” and I felt God speak to me.

He said these words “Come build the walls of Jerusalem”.

Was that really God ?

Did he really speak to me?

I really felt a deep impression that God had just spoken to me.

A week or so later My friend and myself decided to go to a museum and the museum we went to is the King David museum in Jaffa gate Jerusalem.

While we were walking around the exhibition, I noticed a sign on the wall and it said “ Come build the walls of Jerusalem”.

God was speaking to me. I since found out that it is a verse in the Bible.

I didn't know that .

Nehemiah chapter 2 verse 17.

So, I went back to Canada and told them I was leaving and going to the Holy Land, It took me a little while to get here because I was ill but finally in 2002, I came.

Did God really speak to me?

Well, let's look at the evidence.

I can't prove to anyone that God spoke into my heart, it's not possible, you just have to believe me on that one.

There was a physical sign in the museum that had the same verse that God spoke to me on but the biggest evidence that God spoke to me is the fact that I have been here in the Holy Land for 18 years.

Every year I get a new visa.

There aren't many people who can say that they have been here for 18 years.

God has opened the door for my visa.

God isn't going to call you to a country only to say “Sorry no visa” If he wants you there, he will also give you favour with the visa authorities.

So, in conclusion, God wants to speak into your life, If you are a believer, he wants to lead you and guide you.
