The olive wood sheltered workshop is not just like any other working places, but a project that is distinctive by its goals, focusing on families affected by disability, providing the needed care and support, a sheltered employment scheme for men with special needs who would be unable to maintain a job in a normal work environment.
By Providing the safe environment they need, It can improve their situation mentally and socially as well, talking into count the little support giving to people with special needs that is also variable due to the lack of awareness depending on the region that they are living in.
This olive wood project started for people with special needs providing employment for them so that they can make an income for themselves, also learning many skills to support them in all aspects of their lives and stepping on, being self- employment as well.
It provides a safe environment for them by not putting pressure on them, the same pressure found in a normal job. also there ability’s to achieve are limited depending on the their case because of that they need more attention.
, if the project wasn’t done they would have still be unemployed due to their mentally or physically situation.
By making this project their skills can be used efficiently helping them making a better future for themselves , being useful as a individual in their community.
People working there are from different backgrounds Muslims and Christians working together in the same harmony as a family.

It is our vision for the market to have a special corner in normal shops for people with special needs so they are be able to sell their products and have also protection in selling the products. For example that there products are not copied.
Most of the products are sold in Israel and out of the country due to the strong competition nearby.
From a Christian point of view , it is to show the love of Jesus in a practical way and from other view point the respect for the weaker ones specially because we discovered that in this society there is not much attention for the problems of disabled.
Our prayer is that they have a special place in the hearts of people so that they want to take responsibility for the care they need, even if the situation is difficult , when the situation is bad sadly most of the time the weak suffer the most and we pray that this attitude shall change.
