Smoking is a curse on Palestinian society.

Smoking kills a lot of people, People who should be here now are gone because they started smoking.

It is destroying families and it is destroying people's health.

If you want to make a difference in the society then don't follow like sheep.

Perhaps a friend in school smokes, you want to look cool and fit in.

years down the road you may not see that friend any more, but you will be still smoking.

Smoking is such a difficult habit to break.

Look at people in society who smoke, they have been smoking for many years and if you were to ask them would you like to stop, I am sure many of them would say, Yes.

But they can't, they struggle with the addiction and so often the addiction wins.

Smoking steals your health and steals your money.

Just Imagine if you smoke a box of cigarettes a day, how much is that a day that you are spending on something that is killing you?

Then times it by 7 to see how much it is going to cost you to keep up this habit for 1 week.

Times it by 31 to see how much money you will pay every month to smoke. And times it by 365 to see how much it will cost you to smoke in a year.

Have you done the maths yet?

Do you see how much it will cost you financially to smoke?

This is money that can be used for something else.

That is just the financial side there is the health cost too.

So, before you think of smoking or before you think you will look cool with that cigarette count the cost.
