It's not respect it's bullying

The bible says love your wife.
It is a biblical command.
We should love our wives like Christ loved the church.
And Jesus sacrificed himself for the church.
Jesus didn't beat the church to get respect!
And so a husband should never beat his wife.
They are equal partners in a marriage contract.
Each has different roles to play.
But if a husband beats his wife he is just a bully.
God never called a husband to beat his wife.
Marriages all go through difficulties but that doesn't give the husband the right to beat his wife.

Marriage is about love and respect.
You will never get respect by beating your wife.
