Christmas a magical season

Christmas is a very magical season. There is no other time like it.

You may get a bit of snow depending on where you live in the world.

In the UK the bookies take bets as to whether there will be a white Christmas in the UK.

You have the little robin redbreast (bird) on the christmas cards.

And the Christmas music playing in the shops.

Tv plays the new Christmas shows and the classic films.

It's a wonderful time.

Its a time when we spoil ourselves with nice food, nice chocolates and have a drink or two.

The children are excited on Christmas eve.

As a kid I would leave my christmas sack out for Santa to fill it up with all kinds of goodies.

We would have a tree, For many years we had a fresh tree.

And for Christmas we would move out of the dining room into the sitting room.

It's a time for going to church to sing some Christmas carols, For some people the only time they go to church is Christmas and Easter, Or maybe a wedding or funeral.

Christmas is an important time.

It's a time when we remember the most wonderful gift that was given to us.

We remember the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We can pick up a bible and read that story today, The story which took place right here in Bethlehem.

The angels declared Peace on earth and good will towards men.

Sadly today we don't see peace on earth, we don't see good will towards men.

We see wars, we see knife crime, we see shootings in schools and general nastiness.

Today we need to get back to the real meaning of Christmas, Peace in our hearts because Jesus has forgiven us, When we know that peace we can then go out and show it to others.

Don't worry about how others treat people, it's about how you treat people.

Peace on earth and good will towards men.
