Two responses
Calvary was a dark day in history
When they crucified Jesus.
Jesus hung there on a wooden cross with two thieves.
One thief mocked him.
Save yourself and us.
This thief deserved to be there.
He had committed a crime and now he was paying for that crime.
He knew the consequences of sin.
The bible says the wages of sin is death.
The second thief had a different attitude.
He knew he was a sinner, he recognised he had done wrong and he asked Jesus to remember him.
In that last moment the second thief was saved.
He still died, he still paid for his crime but he was saved from hell.
He would be with Jesus in his kingdom.
It was the grace of God.
A thief was saved and a thief was lost.
But they both had free will to choose.
God puts before you today life or death.
Which will you choose ?
Choose life, Choose Jesus.
