Its New Year 2021, and here is hoping for a good year.

2020 was a difficult year for many people, Not just here in Bethlehem but all

around the world.

2020 was a shock to the system, we never in our wildest dreams imagined it

would be like it was.

But 2021 is a new year so begin to dream.

What are your hopes and dreams for this year?

What are your desires?

You can do it, It may take a little hard work but you can do it.

We all need a dream for the future, without a dream we wander around in

circles aimlessly getting know where.

So it is important at the beginning of every year to set some time aside to pray,

ask God what desires he wants to put into your heart.

Pray for the future year ahead of you.

God may want to lead you in a totally new direction, new doors and new

vision.

We don't want to miss what God has for us, we don't want to be so stuck in the

old routine, that we don't recognise a new door when it opens.

Give yourself goals for your year ahead.

Job goals, personal goals, relationship goals and spiritual goals.

Do you want to be in a new job? Does it mean that you need to get more

qualifications to get that job?

Its a new challenge ahead but you can do it.

Personal goals, Many people start the new year on a diet, they have eaten too

much over the Christmas period. And the plan is to loose a couple of

kilograms, Go for it, Mix healthy eating with regular exercise and you will do

it.

Relationship goals, Maybe you want to build your relationships with other,

have a bigger circle of friends, perhaps a Boyfriend or Girlfriend, have better

relationship with family.

Spiritual goals, maybe you feel far away from God, your spiritual life is not

where you would like it to be so you want to spend more time in prayer and

more time in reading the bible.

All these take time and energy, But you can do it.

Give yourself a day in the New year to focus your year ahead, to think about all

the dreams and desires you have for the year and begin to put your plans into action

you can do it.
