Love and Judgement

Getting the balance

When you read your bible you will notice there are two sides to God.

One is that he loves us, We know that because he sent Jesus his son to die on the cross for our sins.

Even though we had done so many wrong things God sent his son to die for you and me.

So God is a God of Love.

We also see God has a Judge, In the bible he judged people for their sin.

Two people died for lying to the Holy Spirit.

Wicked kings were punished.

Israel was sent into exile.

God loved Israel, they were his chosen people but he still punished them.

So we see two sides to God, Love and Judgement.

But we know God doesn't want to punish, when a child does something wrong we know the father doesn't want to punish his child but he knows it is good for him because it will build good character inside of him.

God doesn't want to Punish us but he knows it will build character inside of us.

He is waiting for us to repent, If we repent and are truly sorry then God doesn't need to punish because we got the message.

God is a God of love and Judgement So keep repentance close to your heart.
