The Shepherd

The shepherd is someone who looks after his sheep .

He takes them out to grass so that the sheep can get something to eat.

He stays with the sheep to make sure the sheep is safe and free from any harm .

A sheep is a defenseless animal , A predator can come along and easily take the animal and kill it .

But the Shepherd will defend the sheep and keep him from harm .

The Shepherd knows that the sheep has value .

He will defend his sheep and do his best to keep them safe from harm .

The bible says that Jesus is the Good Shepherd .

He looks after us , He provides us with the food we eat each day .

He keeps us safe and protects us .

Our Enemy the devil cannot touch us without God's say so .

God knows that you and me have value .

God says that we are worth so much that he would send Jesus to die on a painful cross for our sins .

He truly is the Good Shepherd who loves his sheep .
