The tongue is something that can get you into lots of trouble.

We can gossip about someone, spreading rumors and that will get us into trouble.

We can lie about something but when someone realises that it is a lie then we can get into trouble.

The tongue can give out nice flattering words in order to deceive someone but trouble lays ahead.

We need to learn to tame the tongue.

It is not easy but we need to put our brain in gear before we speak.

But ultimatly the tongue is showing us the state of our heart.

The tongue is an expression of our heart.

If evil things come from our tongue it is because there is evil in our hearts.

But God wants to change our heart.

He wants to give us a new mind and thinking.

He wants us to think like him.

He wants to give you the mind of Christ.

Allow God to change your mind which will change your heart and ultimately change your tongue.
