The world seems very divided these days.

There isn't much peace.

One big issue which every generation seems to fight is racism.

Racism is when one ethnic group hates another ethnic group.

So, whites can hate blacks and blacks can hate whites, it is both racism.

America seems to have a big problem these days with Race.

We have seen it on our TV screens with the George Floyd issue.

In the 1960's Martin Luther King was fighting for racial justice, He had a dream.

Things have gotten much better from King's days but there is still a problem.

People still seem to hate someone else because of the colour of their skin or ethnic background.

Man is created equal, no man is better than another, we are all equal.

The colour of our skin doesn't make us better or worse people.

Character is what counts not colour.

Would you like to go to a job interview and find out afterwards that you didn't get the job because of the colour of your skin?

It's not a very nice feeling to know that race was the factor in being rejected.

Society needs to begin to heal and love each other.

We are all different, we have different cultures, different religions, different foods even.

But one thing should be common and that is respect.

Respect for the people we don't understand or perhaps don't agree with.

If you are white then you cannot change your colour, If you are Black, you are black you cannot change your colour.

It's the heart of a man that counts.

Do they love their family ?

Do they respect others?

Do they show kindness and love towards others ?

These are the characteristics we should judge not the colour of a man's skin.

God created us as equals so let's begin to treat each other as equals.
