The Prophets

God speaks.

Arabic

Many times, in the bible we see God speaking through his prophets.

They would come and bring a word of rebuke if someone was going the wrong way Like Saul or they would come and anoint a king like David.

God used his prophets to speak to the people.

Sometimes they weren't liked but they felt there was a word on their heart from the Lord.

It was important to listen to God's prophets because God had a special word for the people.

If it was rebuke, then God was wanting the people or person to change their mind about where their life was heading.

If they listened,, then it would save them from punishment.

If they didn't then it was a warning that Judgement was coming.

The bible is a warning to us today too

we can learn from the people of old.

Did God keep his word?, did he punish long ago?,

Did he forgive when people turned their life around and followed his ways.

There is a big lesson for us all.
