Heartbreak
Just recently my cat stopped eating.
She drank milk but wouldn't eat her meat.
For days it went like this, then she wouldn't drink much at all.
She had a virus which stopped her from eating.
As the days progressed she got weaker and weaker.
It was very sad to see.
I injected medicine which I had seen work on other cats into her mouth, but this didn't work.
In the end I tried injecting meat and milk into her mouth.
She didn't like this at all.
It was very hard watching my cat get sick.
Sadly she passed away.
I miss her so much.
She used to stand on the fridge and rub her head against my head.
Sometimes she would stick her paw out, like she was calling me.
But now she is gone.
I prayed for her to be healed, but she wasn't.
Sometimes it is hard to understand why God didn't do what you wanted.
But even though my cat wasn't healed, even though it seems that God didn't answer my prayer the way I wanted, he is still God.
Should I stop praying because my cat wasn't healed ?
No.
We continue to trust God whatever the circumstances.
Whatever problem you face today God is there. He is right beside you, and even when it feels like he is not, Yes he is.
I can't say everything will be OK, but if we know Jesus as our Lord and savior it doesn't matter because we will have eternity with him.
Our little problems today will all disappear when we are with him.
So look up, even in sadness and pain and trust him today.
