They deserve our respect
It is during conflict and trouble that heroes are born.
We may not notice on any other day .
During the covid pandemic our doctors and nurses worked to save lives,
Many others worked to keep things going as normal while putting themselves at risk.
Today we see war in the holy land and it is a dark time.
Humanity can do terrible things.
But through this darkness a little light is shining, it is the shining light of Hero’s again,
They are out there putting their lives at risk to save other people’s lives.
Ambulance drivers and paramedics are going into very dangerous situations and helping the vulnerable.
Doctors and nurses are treating the sick and wounded.
The everyday person on the street is doing what they can to help.
In this dark hour say a prayer for our heroes who are putting their lives at risk and showing us that there is humanity.
We salute you.
