Does your soul long for God?
The deer is a very beautiful creature.
They live wild in the country.
But imagine a wild deer finding a small stream of water on a very hot day.
That water would be very welcome.
And very much needed on a hot day.
The psalmist spoke about a deer longing for water on a hot day and likened it to himself longing after God.
Wanting to be in God's presence and to know him more and more.
There is refreshment in God's presence.
Many times we are running around when really all we need to do is stop and relax in God's presence.
