Compromise

Little by little.

It can be very easy to compromise.
You may have a standard and value which you stick to.
But then over time you begin to change.
Perhaps life and your faith becomes a little mundane
It's a time for temptation to creep in.
And then you begin to compromise.
Saying well everyone is doing it.
It's not that bad.
You're now justifying your future actions.
And then you sin.
You feel guilty and repent.
But if you don't deal with it then it can happen again.
Little by little you're living a life of compromise.
The spark and fire you once had has been quenched.
The bible talks about quenching the Holy Spirit.
It's those compromises that do it.
If that is you, then recognise it and begin to put your life back in order.
It may be changing things in your life.
Places you go, things you watch.
Whatever it takes to reignite the fire within.
Allow God to reignite your fire as you check your life.
