So if Jesus said it, then we need to expect it.
Not wishing for it, but at least expect it.
We live in a sinful fallen world, a world where people are selfish and not very nice.
Sometimes that will affect us.
We live in a world with war and disease. We will get caught up in that.
We are all getting older so we will have health problems the older we get.
So what Jesus said is quite logical.
We will have trouble from time to time.
Sometimes God tests us.
If everything was good then you wouldn't need God, but when you are going through a hard and painful time then you have a choice, do I trust God or reject him?
Hard times refine your faith.
So if you are going through a hard time today, use it to grow spiritually, use it to focus on God and use it to be a blessing for others
God is refining your faith.
