There is a biblical principle which is very important.
You reap what you sow.
It's true in everyday life you cannot plant an apple tree and expect to get bananas.
It's true in life too, you can't do bad things in life and not expect bad things to happen.
If you treat people badly then at some point you will reap the consequences.
If you steal, then someday you will reap the consequences.
If you live your life for lust and pleasure then a day will come when you will reap the consequences.
Jesus put it best, love your neighbour as yourself.
When that is your focus and aim then you will reap a harvest of peace and joy.
