Radio and media from beit Jala
Power group Youth was founded in 2012 by a young creator, believed in the idea and was able to give it to those around him, Nabil Jamil Hmouz was born in the Palestinian refugee camp Al Fawar in 1990. He grew up there and then he settled in the city of Bethlehem at a young age, holds a Diploma of production of films and documentaries, his aim of establishing power was to create a space for Palestinian young people of different backgrounds and beliefs to express and find a chance to train and societal change.
Power is an independent Palestinian youth group interested in the field of media, art and film production, they are always ready to work on productions include movies, documentaries, media coverage and everything about the media; they have a professional team of their own. Power aims to create creative spaces and provide job opportunities for young people to enhance their abilities reverse the institutions that drain the energies of youth. In addition, they have another branch called Power HELP, which mission is coordinating the activities and bring in volunteers from all over the West Bank.
What about the radio? It is an Online Radio interested in young people and the community; they think it's another way for each individual to all the problems that we face realize in our society and how to deal with it. They have started a new list of programs on the seventh of March 2015, and they have so far five programs offered during the week. There is a program named (Listen to us) broadcasts in partnership with the (ECB) - Bethlehem University. The youth group has a lot of energy to improve themselves and who is around them, they employ all their talents to serve their communities.
